Safety at Lumbre Vibra
Last updated: October 1, 2026
LUMBRE VIBRA DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS OF ITS MEMBERS.
Your safety comes first — not as a tagline, but as a design decision. Lumbre Vibra requires email verification to publish, enforces real community standards, and puts report and block tools on every screen where you interact with someone. We remove accounts that violate our community guidelines.
Designed so women feel safe
Lumbre Vibra is built from the ground up so women are in control. Here is what that means in practice:
- You decide who you talk to. You never have to reply, and one tap on Block stops someone from contacting you again.
- Block anyone, instantly, with one tap — they disappear from your feed, likes, and messages.
- Report without explanation — you do not owe anyone a reason.
- Your exact location is never shared. We show general city or region only.
- If a conversation turns uncomfortable, Report and Block are in the top bar of every conversation, one tap away.
Verification — in plain terms
We do not currently offer identity verification, and no badge on Lumbre Vibra means we have confirmed who someone is. Always meet in public and never send money.
- Email address — every account is registered to an email address. That proves someone can receive mail there; it says nothing about who they are.
- Profile photos — published after a technical check (format, size, a real image), not content or identity review. Anything can be reported, and moderators can remove it.
Criminal background screenings
LUMBRE VIBRA DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS OF ITS MEMBERS.
Many people assume a dating website checks its members. We do not, and we would rather you know that before you meet anyone. A background screening would not make meeting a stranger safe in any case: not every record is public, not every database is up to date, and people can give a false name. Take the precautions on this page whatever any website tells you.
Tools we give you
- Report any profile or message that breaks the rules — on every screen where you interact with someone. You do not need to explain why.
- Block anyone you do not want to hear from again. Blocking stops them from messaging you, liking you, or seeing your profile — immediately, with no notice to them.
- Automated photo checks — every photo is checked for format and that it is a genuine image before it appears. That is a technical check of the image, not a check of who someone is — and we will not imply otherwise.
- A safety reminder at the start of every new conversation — never send money, meet in public, report anything suspicious.
How we review reports
Moderation decisions are made by a person, not an automated system. We do not promise a review window.
- We review it — your report goes to our moderation queue for a person to assess. We may temporarily hide a profile while we look into it. We cannot promise a response time.
- Action taken — we can remove the content, hide a profile so it stops appearing in Discover, in Search and in new messages, or remove the account entirely.
- What you will hear back — we read what you send. We cannot promise a response time, and we do not always follow up individually, so you will not be left waiting on a message that may not come.
- If you think we got it wrong — write to safety@lumbrevibra.com. We are a small team and cannot promise a formal appeals process, but a person will read it.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 first. For threats, extortion, or other crimes, we encourage you to also report to law enforcement — we cooperate with valid legal requests. Email safety@lumbrevibra.com for urgent concerns.
Safer dating, before and on a first date
- There is no substitute for acting with caution when communicating with any stranger who wants to meet you.
- Never include your last name, email address, home address, phone number, place of work, or any other identifying information in your profile or your first messages. Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information or attempts in any way to trick you into revealing it.
- If you choose to have a face-to-face meeting with another member, always tell someone in your family or a friend where you are going and when you will return. Never agree to be picked up at your home. Always provide your own transportation to and from your date and meet in a public place with many people around.
- Never send money or share financial information with someone you have not met in person.
- Keep conversations on Lumbre Vibra until you genuinely trust someone — being pushed off the platform too early is a red flag.
- Trust your gut. Feeling off? You do not need a reason to end a date early or not show up at all.
